Beautiful house and immaculately clean which is really important to me. Top quality equipment and everything you could need. Not a lot in Helmsdale but we went there for the fresh air and we got plenty of that.

Second year we have visited and will definitely be back. It is our idea of the perfect cottage break. Will go back again

Fantastic! However, the short drive down to Golspie is necessary for a selection of amenities and an award winning sandy beach!

A lovely comfortable cottage, in a beautiful and peaceful location. A chance to rest and recharge. Shuffleboard huge fun, but a lot harder than it looks!

We had a wonderful week and great weather. Did lots of walking, visited Dunrobin Castle and saw porpoise in the bay. Had a day trip to the Orkney Islands which was wonderful, the ferry crossing was very calm. Only marked the property down on value for money because we went the May Bank Holiday week which increased the price considerably! Would recommend to anyone thinking of going.

By far the best cottage I've stayed at. The location is stunning. The cottage is large, airy and beautifully presented. An absolute treat for myself, hubby and our 4 dogs. It was my birthday and I was greeted with a card, flowers and a lovely bottle of wine left on the table. A lovely surprise and a very thoughtful gesture. Helmsdale is a short walk away and doesn't have a lot of amenities but perfectly adequate for our requirements. Our break was all about getting away from the rush and clatter or busy towns and daily routines. We had a lovely stay and were really sad to leave. If you get a chance stay at Lobster Ponds. I had been looking forward to our stay for many months and I was not disappointed.
