Lovely cottage convenient for south lakes. Lots of cooking equipment available which we found really helpful. The beds were OK, but not the most comfortable we've slept on.

Very well equipped and comfortable cottage. The 'upside down' style really suits us and makes the most of the beautiful view. We only stopped for two nights do the welcome which was left for us was a lovely surprise. It felt like you were studying at a friends house and I will certainly hope to book again and for longer next time. The only slight problem was the shower dropped warmth slightly when in it. Overall we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this wonderful cottage in a beautiful part of the world.

As this is marketed as a 4 star property, we were very disappointed in several areas. No broadband available - This is really a must in this era. The towels were so small and non absorbent due to being washed and dosed with fabric conditioner we had to go and buy some towels of our own. We didn't appreciate the endless notices that greeted you when entering the property. Please give your guests the benefit of common sense as to how to treat the property. The main bedroom bed was way to small - only a 4'6'' - we would expect at least a 5' or bigger for a top end rental. The shower in the ensuite keep altering the temperature to a dangerous level - this had been mentioned in earlier guest comments several weeks earlier bit not repaired. However, we still enjoyed the property, welcome pack excellent ! - but let down buy these few niggles.

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your feedback. We must take this opportunity to clarify a few of your comments. If we advertised Broadband or Wi-Fi, it would be clearly indicated on the property features on the website but unfortunately we don’t. So sorry you found our towels inadequate however they are standard sized bath towels and yes they are washed in fabric conditioner in order to make them smell fresh. As our cottage is not a meet and greet establishment, we find polite notices pinned on the wall a good way of conveying our house rules. We were disappointed you found the need to take them down. Unfortunately the main bedroom would not take a king size bed and we feel the website picture fully illustrates this. Regarding the shower, we haven’t had any previous complaints and we have had it checked out with no fault found.
