The best holiday cottage in which we have stayed. A delightful, peaceful setting, all that we required in the cottage, clean and comfortable and with much to see and enjoy in the surrounding area, especially if you enjoy visiting well known gardens and heritage railways.

Beautiful cottage with lovely garden in a secluded location on the owners farm. The cottage is very well cared for with good kitchen equipment and thoughtful attention to the needs of guests. Lots of towels, tea towels and everything else you would find in your own home. The wine, milk and the farms own eggs went down very well along with all the other treats such as bubble bath. We felt welcome the minute we walked through the door. The village pub serves very good food and the staff are friendly, but it is best to book ahead at the weekend. A big thank you to the family for sharing your cottage with us.

What a wonderful location, so quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed wonderful hours in and around the cottage. Don't forget to visit the local pub!

A lovely cottage in a tranquil setting. Unfortunately it meant no phone reception which was a problem when travelling with small children.
