Ivy cottage is a great cottage close to all the amenities, Booths supermarket is about a 10 minute walk over the river. The kitchen is big and really well equipped, the children enjoyed being able to watch the TV in the kitchen or listen to the radio. We loved all of the local pictures on the wall, everything you could possibly want was explained to you in the information folders. The towels were nice and fluffy, the heating was more than adequate. The beds were comfortable, there's even electric blankets, though these weren't needed. Cleanliness was very thorough throughout the property. Parking was easy for our car, Hyundai i10 but larger cars may struggle.

The cottage is ideally placed, within a ten to fifteen minute walk to settle.theres two pubs and a great local shop all within a 100 yards. The cottage has a great kitchen, well equipped we had our young son so we cook a lot. There's a lovely table we all spent a lot of time sitting round. Beds are comfortable , after a long days walking good supply of hot water and separate shower and bath, before flopping down in a front room. Everything had clear instructions for use and a delightful addition a great set of walking books. Settle made a great place to eat out or as a centre point for exploring the dales. Really can't wait to come back. If any complaint was to be had it would be a worry we didn't recycle enough otherwise the drive on the first occasion was a challenge but fine afterwards. Thoroughly recommend
