Very friendly and helpful owners. Lots of nice little touches - like fresh flowers in the cottage, CH on, offer of tea on arrival, etc. Of all cottages we have stayed in, this was the most welcoming and home-from-home. Very beautiful views across a valley.

Very friendly welcome from Shelia and Derek on arrival. The cottage was beautiful, cosy and warm. All the things you needed for a relaxing holiday were available. Games, Books, You could sit in the bay window looking out at the beautiful huge garden full of colour and wildlife, binoculars are a must! the stunning views over the valley are stunning. The cottage is quite remote, so would suggest doing all your shopping before you arrive, there is a local little shop, but you need a car to get to it. We have stayed at many cottages over the years, this one is in our top three. Peace, Quiet and relaxation.

A great location and great hosts. We had a wonderful family holiday and there was no shortage of things to do. The location was excellent for exploring and visiting the surrounding around. It had some of the best views we have ever had from a holiday let and the wildlife was amazing.

Fantastic location with breathtaking panoramic views over the Vale of Taunton. A beautifully kept cottage garden can be viewed from the private decking area accessed through French windows from the cottage. House martins were nesting in the eaves during my stay during early June, and a Greater Spotted woodpecker fed on a nut feeder every day outside the living room window - fascinating to watch! The location is ideally situated down a very quiet country lane with virtually no traffic, which makes for a stress-free peaceful stay. The couple who own the house were very friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. An ideal base for walking and sightseeing in nearby Exmoor National Park and the Quantock Hills AONB. Highly recommended.
