Just a short walk from the harbour, beach and amenities of Amble, and an easy drive from Warkworth and its castle.

This comfortable, semi-detached holiday home is close to the harbour and shops of the friendly port of Amble. The town has a good selection of eateries, with an award-winning ice cream shop on the harbour, where boat trips to Coquet Island can be taken. The property is a short drive from Warkworth, with its hillside castle, river walks and pubs, with Alnmouth only a little further, with its picture postcard estuary. Alnwick with its famous castle and gardens is 9 miles. Seahouses, Bamburgh, Craster and Beadnell are approximately 30 minutes away. Newcastle is 50 minutes. An ideal base for exploring this unspoilt county, peppered with friendly villages and castles. Beach 200 yards. Shop 20 yards, pub 100 yards, restaurant 70 yards.

    Great place but need a garden for my dog she wouldn't go for a wee on the concrete so Not for me in the future! Very clean warm and well equipped modern property.

    Excellent accommodation which suited our needs admirably. Very convenient located for both the beach and the facilities within Amble. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return as soon as we can find the time.

    Very happy with our choice of Harbour House.Only the shower was a bit second rate and though we were content with excellent fixtures and equipment provided... we would have liked a washing line and a few pegs so we could dry our clothes and swimming stuff. Not a major negàtive we know just a little thing to make it even more 'customer friendly'.We also appreciated the wine,chocolate and cakes.....a nice welcoming touch.The owners obviously care for their customers! .

    On arrival at Harbour House, we were pleasantly surprised to see how new everything looked; it was obviously a holiday cottage that has been lovingly cared for. It was well equipped (right down to a bucket and spade for sand construction engineers). The provision of a welcoming bottle of wine, biscuits and chocolate was greatly appreciated. Whilst parking roadside of the property was hit and miss (constant coming and going of customers to the co-op located 3 doors away - very convenient) the parking at the rear of the property was outstanding. There was little or no disturbance by the people parking on the front (double glazing). We appreciated that we could take our little dog on holiday with us, the guidelines were clear and fair. We take covers with us to cover any furniture we think the dog might just jump onto (he is a little jack russell and has a mind of his own)!
