It was nice to stay in a relatively, unspoilt harbour village. The house felt very homely. A super area to take your dog. The fish and chips are fantastic!

Lovely cottage, very clean and has all the equipment you would need. Great smart tv for evenings in. Close to town and harbour, plus a nice fish and chip shop round the corner. Great location for exploring Northumberland. Nice beach close by as well. Has parking to the rear but there was always on road parking at the front of the house so we didn’t use it. A few doors down from a small Co-Op which is great but does lead to the road being reasonably busy during the day (for a small place). Overall lovely, good value stay and we would return!

Very clean and comfortable cottage in a good location for the harbour, shop, pubs and restaurants. Two doors down from the co-op, so the road is busy, but we did manage to park outside the door every day. There is a car parking space to the rear of the cottage too.

Lack of a walk in Shower is the main disadvantage having a partially disabled partner may affect a decision to stay there again much as we love the place otherwise

My family came over from the U S A ...first time for my son in law and grandchildren in UK. They were charmed by the pretty house..perfect for a family. Spotless and in a picturesque location. The host could not do enough for us and I would like to thank her on behalf of us all. Great value for money too..would absolutely recommend this cottage for a stay.
