There were three in our party and the property suited our needs well, I was hoping that we could have had our own bath rooms but as one had only a bath we had to share the shower down stairs, no great problem though. We did enjoy the bath too! The location was fantastic with great views ever changing over the Cullins with the islands weather, not good if you want other facilites close by but you should know this by the information given. We had a Renault Clio and found the drive down to property Okay if you took your time, I think some pot holes were probably filled in since a previous reviews comments on this. There were no initial logs for us as we expected, but we did buy some as it made for cosy evenings, even in August! Beds and bedrooms really comfortable, the person who thought they might suffer without any blinds or curtains found it fine in the upstairs room as window smaller, did not bother me, I wake early anyway. One previous review described the decor as a bit tired, and I would agree with this in parts of the property, I think the same goes for cleanliness in some areas

Beautiful surroundings, very peaceful, disappointed with the cleanliness although bed linen was clean, needed more effort around the house. Good size cottage, was good to have the aga and oven, it was good that the kitchen is bigger than how the picture shows it, recommended

Lovely cottage situated right in the water. Very comfortable furnishings and beds. Only mild complaint is there were no window coverings, making sleep more difficult. Internet access was not working and it would have been far preferable to be connected.

Fantastic location with stunning views. Loved the isle of Skye and the peace and quiet and the cottage.

This is a beautiful cottage in a fantastic location. Several local attractions worth a visit including Dunvegan Castle and Portree is a lovely place to visit. The cottage itself is well equipped. However, the cleanliness did let it down a little. We enjoyed our stay none the less and saw wildlife including an otter from the living room window. We would stay here again and would recommend it to others.

The cottage is truly beautiful and its location is just stunning. As mentioned by others already, the road is not the best as it has a lot of potholes and you might want to think about with what kind of car to drive to Skye. Other than that everything was as shown on the pictures and the kitchen and bathroom were equipped with a couple of things that I think previous people forgot or left. The location is great as it is very simple to get to other places on Skye and as it's not just next to the bridge to Skye on the way to the cottage you can already enjoy the beautiful landscape. Even for a short break it has a good money for value ratio, though I'd definitely like to stay longer next time to make the most of it. All in all an amazing place for a holiday and to fully relax!

Guests need to be told that the driveway can be perilous for cars. We had to buy additional pans etc to make meals eg a caserole dish. Guests need telling that the TV signal doesn't work.
