A lovely place to stay, though the kitchen could do with some updating.

Very old property so dampness, lack of light, lack of internet and cobwebs perhaps to be expected. Old fashioned but comfy and had everything we could possibly have needed. Owner and situation were lovely.

Lovely cottage with pretty much everything you'd need for your holiday. Location was beautiful but very rural and so no local amenities apart from a pub which is about a mile away. Loads to do around here all within 30 mins drive. Unfortunately the WiFi didn't work which wasn't the owners fault but BT not doing their job but this did cost us money. The beds were comfy, plenty of seats at the table and chairs in the living room and lovely views. We would come again. Not forgetting the lovely welcome with tea/coffee and cakes from the owners who were also lovely.

Glen Cottage is situated in a true country position isolated from any village or hamlet. Being a working sheep farm the panoply of farm equipment and atmosphere is prevalent and welcoming if a town dweller. We found the cottage well presented on arrival and everything provided to make the stay welcoming.
