Lovely peaceful break at Gamekeepers cottage. This small but cosy cottage is set in a great location for visiting the Brecon Beacons. The forest opposite is ideally situated for walking the dog. Owners Mark and Helen very friendly and helpful. The welsh cakes waiting for us on our arrival were scrumptious.

Loved our stay at the cottage. Had a friendly warm welcome. Our dog, Mary, loved her stay. More control of owners dogs would help people with sensitive dogs.

A lovely cottage with superb garden, ideal for anyone with a dog. Friendly welcome, lovely Welsh cakes, tea and milk in the fridge all make a difference. There is a forest trail 200 yards from the door so ideal for 1st or last walks. Quiet location away from main roads and towns means you do have to drive to a pub or shop but you make your choice! Great location for exploring the west side of the Brecon Beacons.

Cosy and comfortable cottage at the west side of the brecon beacons. This area is very quiet and ideal for walking. We really enjoyed our stay. Be aware that there is no wifi and no phone signal, ideal if you want to get away from work!
