The cottage was lovely with everything you need. There is currently no WiFi and the mobile signal is poor but it is nice to have some peace and quiet for a week. The owner is very helpful.

We had a lovely time at Forest View. Enjoying and exploring the area. It was peaceful and charming and the welcome with the fire on and light to welcome us complete with fresh milk, eggs and bread was the icing on the cake.

What a beautiful cottage with a great location. My husband and I loved every minute of our time there. Weather unfortunately was not very good but the cottage was nice and warm to come back to after a day out sightseeing. Our host also provided milk, eggs and bread which was very welcomed. Will certainly go back and also recommend to family and friends.

The cottage has all the essentials you need , the owners were friendly and helpful . We felt it could of been advertised as no wi Fi as if we had known this we wouldn't have booked as it was a working break. Cottage is ideal for 2 and a small child as its small and compact . Table only sat 2 yet there was 3 of us . A tumble dryer was a bonus. Location is pretty

Lovely warm cosy cottage with everything we needed. It was in a very quiet village location. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. It was exceptionally clean and we appreciated the eggs, bread and milk left for us. There were board games to play and a selection of DVDs. Places to visit were easy to reach from the cottage and there was a good selection of tourist information in the cottage. We had booked a weekend short break but wished it was longer. It was an excellent cottage to recharge our batteries. We have stayed in a few cottages in the Peak District in the past but this was our favourite and we will be booking again in the future.

A lovely cottage, perfect for our family with a toddler and 1 year old. We had our youngest in the travel cot in the main bedroom and our toddler loved her cosy bedroom. There were loads of toddler toys for them to play with and some dvds for rainy days. There is a play area in the village, about 5 mins walk away which was great. The only downside was the lack of WiFi as mobile data signal was limited. The kitchen was very well equipped and the shower was nice and powerful! All very clean.

Wonderful cottage, we have never stayed anywhere so clean. Really well equipped with little added extras that made all the difference. Great for babies/toddlers with high chair, travel cot (but we had our own) and even a box of toys. Washing machine and dryer was really convenient. All round a wonderful stay at Forest View.

Nice cottage warm and a nice fire to welcome us. Shame the local pub isn't the same.
