We had a fantastic few days staying at Dove Cottage. We arrived late because of traffic but the owners had put the heating and lights on and had the fire going so we walked into a beautifully cosy and welcoming cottage. The milk, tea and treats were a real welcome bonus after a long journey with young children. The cottage is perfect for families with young children, toys, cutlery for children and a washing machine and tumble dryer all great additions. We can't thank David and Jane enough for our wonderfully enjoyable stay, we hope to be back very soon.

This is a lovely cottage and Jane and David are excellent hosts. It is comfortable, everything we needed was there, it has lots of thoughtful touches for those with children. It is absolutely spotlessly clean. Fresh flowers were a nice touch, as was milk, coffee, tea etc there on arrival. As a base for exploring eastern and central Cornwall it is probably as good as you will find. Even the far west is accessible albeit with a lengthy-ish drive. If you want rural seclusion this is ideal, whilst within easy striking range of many popular attractions (Heligan, Eden Project, NT properties). We would stay here again without hesitation.

Lovely cottage, smelt a bit musty but it's an old stone building I suppose, and you get use to it,overall very nice, real bonus the owners put washing up liquid and other bits already there for you.

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your comments. We are glad overall you enjoyed your stay. I cannot understand your comment about the musty smell as its not a problem any of our other guests have encountered.

We had a lovely week at Dove Cottage. The cottage was spotlessly clean and really well equipped. The location was perfect for exploring both the north and south Cornish coasts. The owners, Jane and David, were both very welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed for our holiday. Thank you both.

We loved our stay at Dove Cottage! We had a lovely warm welcome from David and Jane, who had thoughtfully provided a few helpful basics like a pint of milk. The immaculately clean cottage was in a lovely quiet location, but was in easy reach from many locations we wanted to visit. Our kids absolutely loved the upstairs bedroom, it became a perfect den for them!( the ceiling isn't as low as you think) The cottage is perfectly set up for young families, with toys, DVDs, plastic crockery and other helpful items provided.

Lovely setting quiet location but central for any destination. David and Jane very helpful. Did not need to take half the stuff we did as it was supplied for us.
