A great little cottage in a splendid location. The cottage is comfortably furnished and has everything you could need. One or two small things (leaking gutter over the back door, but only noticeable when it rains and it only rained once in the 11 days I was there), and a protruding spring in one of the single beds on the 2nd floor. There is loads of spare bedding and towels and flannels are provided too. Radio reception is pretty nil due to the cliffs, but can be listened to on the TV. I had problems with the TV but think that is because I am not used to SKY. This was my second stay and I shall definitely return.

Absolutely loved our week in Archie's cottage, the views were amazing watching all the birds as the tide went out. The cottage was really well equipped and very comfortable and the pub at the top of the hill is well worth the walk for a lovely meal. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely holiday at Archie's cottage. The views were wonderful and the cottage was well equipped. The welcome pack was much appreciated, especially having milk in the fridge so that we could have a cup of tea on arrival! The beds were comfortable and it was lovely to have so many towels. It was nice to be able to walk along to the harbour in the evening and the playground was enjoyed by the children. The locals were friendly and someone even put our bin out for us! Thank you for a super holiday.

An excellent and comfortable stay. Although the weather was fine it was quite cool compared to the rest of the U.K. the week we stayed. The village is charming if a little remote, a good get away from it all. There are plenty of places to discover by car or train from Berwick.

We stayed on a 3 night break, 2 adults and 3 children. Beautiful cottage, lovely quiet location. Views are wonderful. Garden looked lovely with nice furniture but it rained so we didn't get to use it. A very generous welcome pack of wine, fruit and milk. Plenty of tea, coffee and sugar too. Shower was good which isn't always the case with electric showers but it was nice and powerful. Absolutely spotless, no dust whatsoever, even behind the pedestal in bathroom where I had to retrieve the contents of my cosmetic bag! Would definitely recommend.
