Very well presented property with quality equipment and furnishings. Excellent new shower in the bathroom. Idyllic location with panoramic views. Very private and peaceful - only sound at nights was an owl hooting in the wood beside us. The chalet is on the family's traditional working croft and, when available, they sell their own produce. The Visitor Centre in Roy Bridge is well worth a visit. It has lots of information on Glen Roy and its Parallel Roads.

Had a great time the cabin was in a great location. You book this place for its isolation not its access to local amenities. The owners were friendly without being overwhelming. Really enjoyed our stay

We had a great time in the cottage. It is a very cosy place and the views are spectacular. Very many good hiking sites are within good reach. We will definitely come back.

Directions given are easy enough to follow, getting there in winter might be tricky as the access road is steep in places. Lodge is located on a farm land next to the owners house, like others said-you're pretty much left alone. Beautiful views from the decking just outside the lodge, there’s a barbeque, table and four chairs outside so weather permits the whole family can enjoy the views and breathe the fresh air. Perfect 10 for cleanliness, the lodge feels warm and cosy yet there’s still enough space so that you don’t feel cramped. Electric heating is effective end there’s no meters to top up. Kitchen is well equipped. We do understand that the space in the lodge is limited however in our opinion it would benefit more from a washing machine instead of dishwasher. We still managed ok hand washing a few things and drying them on provided drying rack. Beds big enough and comfortable. Wi-Fi worked perfectly so even though there’s no phone signal we could contact each other through FB messenger. Small SPAR with basic groceries is 10 minute drive away and larger supermarkets in Ft William half an hour away. Pub/restaurant 20 minute walk in nearby village, just don’t embarrass yourself by ordering 15 YO single malt with coke (they will allow a single ice cube). Good base for all sorts of outdoor activities, close to Glen Nevis if you want to do the Ben, Nevis Range and Laggan Wolftracks within 20-30 min drive for MTB, anything from family friendly to world cup DH. Spectacular natural trails in places like Kinlochleven, Skye and Torridon within driving distance. Loads of wild mushrooms literally within a few feet away from the road to Roy Bridge, mostly birch bolete and chanterelles but please please don’t eat them unless you’re absolutely 100% sure what species they are. Please do read recycling information hanging on the wall in the kitchen, we didn’t bother and messed it up a bit which we apologise for :-( Overall we had a great time, shame it was over so quickly!

The cabin is comfortable, clean and well-equipped with lots of books, films, and kitchen equipment but more importantly the setting is absolutely magnificent. The main living/ kitchen area has lots of windows and the views are exquisite. One of the windows is east-facing and offers a perfect view of the sunrise. The main windows face south to floor-to-ceiling views of the Nevis range with a lovely porch for sitting out with your morning coffee. The porch has a table and four chairs and comfortably houses a family evening meal. There are beautiful walks from the door to the amazing Parallel Roads. Within a short drive there is plenty to do, but each day of our family holiday here we all looked forward to getting back to this lovely cabin.

We have spent 2 nights. it's a very plaisant place, calm, comfortable and beautiful nature. It would be perfect if we could have jam and butter.
