We had a great few days in this very well equipped cottage. Loved the views of the harbour from the sitting room on the top floor. Also, liked how easy and quick it was to walk to the local pubs and restaurants. However, whilst we knew it was on a road, we hadn't appreciated how busy and noisy that road was going to be. There was constant traffic noise from early morning until evening which is why we have only given it a mid range rating for location.

Beautiful and unusual cottage, comfortable, warm and with everything you could need for a lovely relaxing stay away from home. Plenty of choice for eating out in walking distance if wanted.

our four days were great. The weather was wonderful and Bosuns Locker was really cosy. A wonderful view from the living room on the top floor, in the kitchen there was everything you could need and the bed was very comfortable. Loved sitting in the kitchen for a little time in the evening just listening to the radio and reading. Lots of great places to visit in the area and a lovely variety of shops in the High Street

Great holiday, plenty of places to visit, Brockenhurst, Bournemouth and Ringwood for example with Bosuns Locker being the perfect place to stay. Lymington is a great town and has plenty of Restaurants for all tastes, especially Egans, Stanwell House and The Mayflower. Recommend going to the Isle of White with Puffin Cruises and going on the Open Top Bus Tours.

A perfect spot in a lovely town centre with a wide selection of venues for eating and drinking. Bosuns locker was spotlessly clean and comfortable. We have had a wonderful relaxing time. Worth mentioning that arriving at rush hour(I use that term loosely for Lymington)parking in the narrow street to unload is a little troublesome but outside that time is not such a problem.

Lovely quirky cottage, increased my fitness level but the views were worth it. Only draw back, parking the car with the local councils strange parking times, would recommend contacting the council as I believe you can get a permit.

I loved the cottage, very unique, and the view from the lounge was wonderful. Very well equipped, with extras. I reckon I must have come away fitter than when I arrived! I lost count of the times I got upstairs only to find I'd left something I needed in the kitchen !! Love Lymington (have been before) and had some lovely days out especially over to the Isle of Wight visiting Osborne House and Carisbrooke Castle. Lymington is in a beautiful part of England. Lots of bird watching and walking, or just sitting by the quayside watching the boats. The only downside for me was proximity to the pub - having the bedroom window open as it was warm I could hear the noise when it was busy, plus when someone was smoking out the back the smell drifted into the room.

Pleasant views of Lymington quay and harbour from lounge on second floor. Close to high street, even closer to a very popular pub. Well equipped, comfortable bed. Within easy walking distance of Lymington rail station and a short drive to the Isle of Wight ferry. Lovely when weather is good.
