Description

Beautiful detached house, ideal for larger groups of family or friends, with Royal St David’s Golf Course close by.

Ideal touring location

This delightful detached holiday property is ideally located for families, as it is a short walk from a 4 mile long sandy beach, one of the finest beaches in Wales backed by sand dunes, and a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). Harlech is also best known for Harlech Castle which dominates the town. The world renowned Royal St David’s Golf Course is opposite (the 2nd in Wales of the top 100 courses in 2013, and 43rd in the UK and Ireland’s top 100 courses also in 2013). Walkers, mountain bikers, climbers, and fishermen will find plenty to test their skills in the area, and for those wanting to travel slightly further, Snowdon, the Lleyn Peninsula and Betws-y-Coed are all an easy scenic drive away. There are excellent boutique restaurants in the town, (booking is essential in high season). Beach 500 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 500 yards.

Ground floor: Living room. Dining room/kitchen. Utility room. 2 double bedrooms, one with additional bunk, one with en-suite shower room and toilet. First floor: 2 bedrooms: 1 double (5ft) with additional single and en-suite shower room and toilet, 1 twin with additional single. Bathroom with bath, shower cubicle and toilet.

This a large, very well equipped house in an excellent location. The only significant improvement that I could suggest is that the dining table, which seats only six people, should be replaced by one which is larger, rather than guests having to use an additional fold away table and chairs. The caretaker/cleaner was very friendly and helpful. The waste/recycling system was the most comprehensive and simple to follow of any holiday cottage we have visited and the large, enclosed garden was ideal for our border collie. Overall, I would recommend Bod Eithin very highly.
