It is a lovely way to spend the week. Home from Home. The cottage is well equipped and in an ideal location. I can’t wait to return.

This is a quality cottage, in the centre of Glenridding. Everything you will need is in this cottage, fridge, freezer, microwave, washing machine ( if you need it). Local cafes, shops, pubs, all close by. Some fantastic walks, short or long depending how energetic you feel. We are coming back next year!

Wonderful for walking directly from the door. Plenty of hostelries and places to eat locally too.

I have visited and stayed in Glenridding many times in the past and have to say Bank End is a wonderful cottage in a great location slap bang in the centre of Glenridding village. The cottage is exceptional with every comfort you can think of, a well equipped kitchen with plenty of utensils/crockery and all required appliances. All rooms were clean and very comfortable and the en suite to all bedrooms are a god send, the gardens are well looked after, we had good weather for March and the only downside was the patio set wasn't set out, but no way did it spoil our stay. Well located for plenty of walks for both the experienced and novice hikers. The village has 2 grocery shops and the local pubs the Beckside Bar and Ramblers serve excellent food and choice of wines, ales and ciders, real home from home places and people.
