Warm, comfortable and well equipped but floors could have done with a good steam cleaning . Also property is semi detached and noise from water running next door very apparent

We loved this property. Very warm and cosy. Well located near an excellent pub - can't say better than that!

House good but road noise, blinds on skylights were awful, grubby and made the place dark as it was too difficult to open them, there was a privacy issue as you could see the nearby house through side of blinds so I am sure they would see you especially with a light on. One pillow each with spares in wardrobe with no pillowcases and grubby pillow protectors (no one wants to put their head / face on these). Small inexpensive details like these are annoying. No tea towels. Like enclosed garden for dog.

    Response from: Administrator

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your feedback. The housekeepers have changed the pillow protectors - this should not have been missed on a changeover - please accept our apologies (they would have been more than happy to do so at the time had you contacted them). I think this may have been overlooked because they are so seldom used as there is already a long large bolster size pillow, plus 2 rectangular pillows on the bed. The pillow cases are in the same plastic envelope as the pillows to keep them clean. We score consistently very highly for cleanliness. I have also asked the housekeepers to now leave the tea towels on the worktop, as sometimes guests don't find them in the drawer or on the island rails; we always provide tea towels. We also provide wee soaps, a welcome dram and flowers, so we do try very hard with the little extras that guests usually appreciate.
