Ard Garraidh is a delightful modern attached cottage set in an idyllic location yet only 15 minutes from Inverness. 

Enjoying a peaceful country setting with panoramic views across the open countryside to the hills and forest, this semi detached modern house makes a perfect base for exploring the many delights of this beautiful part of the Highlands. Ard Garraidh has been equipped and furnished to a good standard to ensure as comfortable and relaxing holiday as possible. Only one mile from the pretty village of Ardersier with its lovely beach, two miles from Inverness airport and just a 15 minute drive from the Highland Capital City of Inverness and five minutes drive from the seaside town of Nairn. Lovely walks, mountain bike trails, dolphin and seal spotting boat trips, watersports and fishing are just some of the many activities available in the area. Castles, historical sites including Fort George, Cawdor Castle and Culloden Battlefield and the Malt Whisky Trail all on the doorstep – so much to see and do for all ages. For the less energetic, sit back, relax and watch the ever changing scenery unfold from the warmth and the comfort of the lounge by the woodburning stove.Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

    Even though it's attached, we never heard any noise or problem from the neighbour, forgot at times there was anyone else there. Lovely location & places to see within easy reach. Everything was there that you expect to make a great holiday break.

    Not as advertised garden is not fully enclosed no gate at car entry hence not completely suitable for pets . TV is old remote battery held in with tape. Electric fence around property. Property shared with owner you only have half the building shown. Requires some cleaning. Would be ok priced around £350 to £400 no fuel for log burner as advertised. Would benefit from some interior update grass being cut and a reasonable outside table and chairs as was old and rusty

    Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your review and comments, as it is important for us to receive some criticism as well as the usual praise to try & maintain the highest standards that we have set for the property. This is the first negative review we have had in 4 years since the house was built & we are sorry that you were not 100% happy with your accommodation choice. It's a pity that you did not mention any off these issues at the time off your stay as when asked if everything was satisfactory with your stay you replied that everything was fine. I have asked the booking agency if they can send a representative to visit the accommodation & review the property for their property description & review their pricing. As you booked to stay for 5 nights in the middle of July this can block a potential weekly let & the daily price becomes higher which is then reflected in the overall price. Our property is priced to accommodate a family or group of between 4-7 people, as your main issue seems to be the value & price that you paid perhaps a smaller property that accommodates only 2 people would have been a better value option for you. I will discuss the pricing & the property description with the booking agency so that we can ensure that all our guests are 100% satisfied with their stay in the future.
