Set close to the owner’s home and stables in 16 acres of garden and paddocks, it has its own privacy and there is a delightful country pub within 200 yards.

Being close to the M25, the area is busy but Godstone retains a great deal of charm and has a delightful village green and pond, as well as a number of pubs and eateries. Godstone Farm, on the outskirts of the village, is a popular spot with animal interaction and extensive play and picnic areas.

Close by is the British Wildlife Centre and within easy reach is a long list of stately homes, National Trust properties, theme parks and other attractions including Hever Castle, Borde Hill, Ightham Mote, Standen, Wakehurst, Chartwell, Chessington World of Adventures, Thorpe Park, The Bluebell Railway and Epsom/Lingfield racecourses. Brighton and the south coast are less than an hour away and local train stations provide easy access to London. Shops 1 mile, pub 200 yards.

Lots of character in this 17th century barn conversion. Spacious and warm, private parking, wi-fi etc. 10 mins from M25. Visited Chartwell, Wisley, Standen, Brighton, Hampton Court...all within easy driving distance.

Pleasant and comfortable. Poor WC flush upstairs.

The Barn was a quirky conversion comfortable inside if rather dated. One slight problem was very creaky floors upstairs. Another was noise - cars, planes and occasional trains. It was in a pleasant country position adjoining small stables with paddocks to the front, however a minus was that the road was busy and not that safe for any walking. It was over two miles from Godstone necessitating use of a car. Godstone itself is a pleasant large village - two excellent pubs - White Horse and The Bell, however food shopping is not particularly good.
