The cottage is perfect for access to The Red Lion where the food is excellent . The varying slopes on the floor upstairs requires getting used to . In the very hot weather we wnjoyed , the coolness inside was very welcome.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your comments, the floors are a bit uneven but the cottage was built in 1678. I'm pleased The Lion fed you well.

I always enjoy returning to my home town when I can and on this occaision my stay was made more special because of Molly's Cottage. As a family we are thankful to the owners for letting guest savour the uniqueness of staying in an old wood beamed cottage which they have renovated and restored to excellent standards. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to stay in the Knighton area for a couple of weeks and exploring the joys of the Mid-Wales and the Marches areas of the Uk.
