We had a lovely relaxing holiday. Our Lodge was immaculately clean and well equipped. We were close to many beautiful locations to visit within the area. We will defiately be back again.

Hot water leaked out rather than ran out of tap. Beautifully kept otherwise. Lack of on site amenities (shop) does become a pain - particularly with fuel prices being what they are now. The level of isolation is relative to different people and their needs but it didn’t work too well for us. Lesson learned. If you like to get away from it all and enjoy nature and the quiet I good quality (please get the hot water fixed) - this is for you.

A completely refurbished lodge which is very clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything needed for a great stay. The overall location within the Hartland Forest is remote with access to the site by narrow lanes which we didn’t find a problem but some might! That said Tesco will deliver to the lodges so not that remote! Our main complaint would be of the overall general upkeep of the site itself. A lot of the areas close to the lodges are being allowed to go wild as seems to be the trend toward rewilding but it does make the inside of the lodges dark. Newly planted trees will make this progressively worse over time.
