We had a lovely time at the cottage. It is in a beautiful spot with amazing view, although quite far away from everything. Once we got the cottage warm it was very cozy.

This visit to Skye was more pilgrimage than holiday. My late wife and I honeymooned on Skye some 28 years ago, so this was an opportunity to revisit some old locations, memories and show my son why the Skye holds such good memories for me. The location was just where I needed it to be. The storage heaters were set too low on arrival for the time of year, however I soon got a roaring fire going. The cottage keepers left us to ourselves throughout, however I can see for some people they may have preferred at least an introduction, however this suited me fine.
