Located on a working dairy farm of over 240 acres, in the heart of the Tamar Valley, AONB, Badger is a single storey stone, semi-detached barn conversion with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams. The holiday cottage has its own patio and a shared field and play area for children to use. Gulworthy is on the Devon/Cornwall border, and right on the doorstep is Morewellham Quay. The Tamar Valley Trail is a favourite for walkers and cyclists. Tavistock, 3 miles, has pannier and farmers markets, shops, restaurants, an indoor swimming pool and a live music venue. Horse riding, fishing, canoeing, boat trips and even a train from Calstock into Plymouth are some of the things you can try whilst staying here. There are two supermarkets in Haverstock, which is 2 miles away and the nearest petrol garage is just a mile from Badger Cottage. For those wishing to leave the car behind there are a number of local pubs within half a mile. Shops 2 miles, pub ½ mile.
