As well as the stunning mountainous landscape and peaceful loch shores, the town has a good selection of local attractions.

Inveraray was first established in the eighteenth century by the 3rd Duke of Argyll, characterised by its pretty white washed cottages and the imposing bell tower of the All Saints Church which can be accessed by ascending 176 steps and has one of the heaviest ring of bells in the world; the views from the top are simply breathtaking.

Enjoying the wonderful architecture of Inveraray Castle, the home of the Duke of Argyle, is a most pleasant way to enjoy the day, as is visiting nearby Ardkinglas House.
