Nestling in the pretty Norfolk countryside close to the heart of the Norfolk Broads, Willow Barn and single-storey Beech Barn are detached holiday properties dating back to the 1700s, situated in the grounds of the owner’s home. Providing a perfect retreat for discerning larger family groups, these converted barns offer spacious and comfortable accommodation boasting beamed interiors, wood-burning stoves and enclosed separate gardens with private hot tubs, and for a special meal or family celebration gourmet meals can be arranged with the owner. Beech Farm Barns are ideally located for all the family and for nature lovers there is an abundance of bird life. Within walking distance is Alderfen Broad, which is situated in The Broads National Park, a bird watcher’s delight. For the children there is BeWILDerwood Adventure Park with its treehouses, zip wires, jungle bridges and boat trips, which all combined makes a great day out. Nearby is the attractive Broads village of Horning with its selection of tea shops, restaurants and pubs. A day boat can be hired directly from the owner, or book a trip on the Mississippi steamer. The sandy beaches of the North Norfolk Coast are only 10 miles away. Alternatively spend a day in the fine city of Norwich with its magnificent cathedrals, castle, museums, theatres, market and vast array of cafes and shops. There is a wealth of National Trust properties to visit in the area which include Felbrigg Hall, Garden and Park (one of the finest 17th-century country Jacobean houses in East Anglia), Blickling Hall (a magnificent house with woodlands and lakeside walks) and Sheringham Park (beautifully landscaped and renowned for its spectacular displays of azaleas and rhododendrons in late spring). Shops and pub 1½ miles.

We had a fab time at Willow Barn. I don't think that there is very much to be disappointed about, the location was great especially if you have a dog. the only thing I would say is the very back bedroom downs stairs (the one with the cot in it) was very cold and smelt quite damp I don't think the radiators down that end got very hot to warm the room up. but that is the only thing, but it didn't ruin our time there, the hot tub was fantastic and really enjoyed by all. Thanks you for a lovely week at you're fab Barn I'm sure we will be back

The drains are somthing to be desired dishwasher had water come back up and it stunk, three of the people had a shower and the water came through the ceiling on reporting it to the owner his advise was common sence would be to shut the door when showering which i thought was rather rude, of course the door was shut, there were signs of a leak before as there were water marks, toilet roll holder and towel holder hanging off, electric tripped twice, found it a little strange that the upstairs windows were seeled units thought this was a bit of a fire risk, it was a very nice place but not 5* as stated i feel the place needs some tlc to bring it up to the 5* as stated. but the suroundings were lovely and we had a very nice time.

Very good property for a large group. We had a pleasant stay. The only concern was we could not lock the door as the lock was faulty therefore a security risk whilst we were out and about

This was our second holiday in Willow Barn and like last time our family had a wonderful time. The enclosed garden is great for young children and the dog while the hot tub was great to relax in. The house is ideal for a large family with each bedroom having an en-suite. The owners are friendly and welcoming and on hand to answer any questions. The location of this house is ideal for visiting beaches and local attractions like Bewilderwood which was a hit with our grandchildren and the Bure valley railway.

A peaceful location and spacious property, we enjoyed the privacy and homeliness of WIllow Barn. The property was of a high specification, very clean and was extremely cosy. The hot tub and garden were big hits with the children. Having stayed in 5* star cottages for the last 10 years, the property was let down by a minor attention to detail for example by the number of light bulbs not working. This aspect is easy to fix and was not enough to take away from a relaxing, enjoyable break and the owners were very helpful and attentive. I would stay there again.

A fantastic quality home with lots of space and situated in a good location for some peace and quiet. Fantastic pub in Neatishead that serves great food and is only a couple of miles away. Many thanks to the owners who were fantastic and dealt with our every need. We will try our best to visit again and would recommend the accommodation to our friends.

Fantastic property! Absolutely beautiful barn! And the hot tub was a luxury! It would have been nice to have more information in the info pack, including the wifi code. It's impossible to get signal at this barn, so although it's a nice place to retreat to, some internet access would have been nice.
