The hosts Wendy and Nigel were friendly and helpful, and there were plenty of local walks for our family and our dog. The pubs in the area were close by and we can recommend The Gate, as good value for money. The gardens are beautiful and ideal for our dog to roam and play in. The holiday cottage was cosy and everything you needed was there.

WOW!! We all had such a wonderful holiday. Water Bailiffs Lodge had so much more going for it than being a cottage to stay in. It was home from home with all of the equipment available, the comforts of the whole house and the scenery is incredible.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The owners were most welcoming, and they had supplied plenty of entertainment, (TV, videos, books, games), and lots of brochures on places to go. The cottage was roomy and cozy, it is set in a beautiful location. It is worth a second visit for sure.
