Cottage was well equipped and comfortable with a lovely garden. Kitchen and shower room good. Main bedroom very small though and you had to be careful on the stairs!

full of character and well equipped. very cosy and warm which was a boon as the weather was awful for our stay. plenty of nice walks and pubs close by all serving food. community shop was very handy and everyone was very friendly. the garden is lovely, shame we couldn't make much use of it.

Full of period features, uneven floors and very interesting, great shower room and comfy lounge, lovely garden, but you must keep your dog on lead to get to it as the main road is very busy. It is really small though, no way I would have four adults in there, we struggled with two. We used the twin bedroom as it was bigger. I spoke to the owner before we went who was very nice and gave us great tips for dog friendly pubs (the Wild Man could not have been more welcoming), lovely walks, and a great community shop, although the caretaker did not respond to a couple of texts about the whereabouts of the advertised DVD player - we never did find it! The welcome pack was a very nice touch. If you are a bellringer, the village has a lovely ring of 6 and a very welcoming Tower Captain/team, check Doves for practice details.
