We enjoyed our break away, but for us the cottage was just too far out from many places we intended to visit this i suppose was bad planning on our part . If you really want to get away from it all for a few days peace and quiet in a nice setting with no phone signal or wifi its perfect. But we had places to visit and it was just too isolated for us but a lovely friendly owner although the cottage is dated it has everything you need (apart from mabye a dvd player and a useable shower the bath was very cramped and im only small less than 5 and a half foot.) There are local shops and a pub about 10 -15 mins drive which were handy and an excuse to pop in the pub to so my 16 yr old daugter could use the wifi.

Lovely location, fab enclosed garden, the dogs lived it. Cottage was very dated and had that musty not luved ib smell on arrival, went after. A few hours of having the windows open. Needs a revamp and a luck of paint, would get a 10 across the board then.

Beautiful location in the countryside, only a short drive from Aberystwyth. Clean and tidy. The owner was lovely, very welcoming and helpful. Would stay again.

We had a great week at Tynlon Villa and our two dogs loved it. The garden was secure and pretty. We would have appreciated some means of drying wet towels as the weather was not always suitable to use the line outside. Even if a tumble dryer could not be provided, a clothes horse of some sort would have been invaluable. The kitchen was sparsely equipped with utensils and a decent sharp knife is needed. However, overall it was good value and beautifully located.
