Description

Enjoy a great family holiday at this property, with beaches and seaside towns within easy reach.

These beautifully renovated detached Welsh barns, Ty Llo (ref W43266) and Coal House (ref W43267), stand a few yards apart, and a small terraced row of three (300 yards from the barns), comprising Wyth-y-Nant (ref W42214) and Hawton (ref W41830), both end terraced properties, and Coeden Afal (ref W41764), the mid terraced property, are all situated on Carmarthen Bay in the coastal setting between Ferryside and Kidwelly. Tastefully decorated throughout, each bursts with character including original stone walls and beams. Close to the historic castle at Kidwelly and just a short drive to Carmarthen. Beaches at Ferryside, Pembrey and Llanstephan are all within easy driving distance. Enjoy a day at Fos Las racecourse, only a 15-minute drive. The holiday cottages provide an ideal location from which to enjoy the sandy beaches of Pembrokeshire and the Gower, the latter renowned for being Britain’s first AONB. Spend your days exploring the historic town of Laugharne, famously known for the iconic boathouse of Welsh poet Dylan Thomas, and visit the castle and traditional Welsh pubs where fresh fish is always on the menu. Don’t miss a visit to the National Botanical Garden of Wales and Aberglasney Gardens. Golf, riding, fishing and water sports nearby. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant 0.75 miles.

Had a great week. Cottage very comfortable, would definitely return. The only negatives: The heating not great first thing in the morning and it would have been nice to have met the owners caretaker etc to say Hi. Other than that all good. Thank you

Had a lovely time the cottage was fab everything you needed & much more, only small issue was the hot water wasn't very hot when having a shower & only lasted a couple of minutes before turning cold. We did report the problem it was looked at but still not much of an improvement. Hot tub was nice & relaxing. We would return one day in the near future.

We were only here for a brief getaway, but it was absolutely amazing. The weather was awful, but we barely noticed, due to the hospitality, and the comfort of our surroundings. The cottage couldn’t be better, and it’s fully equipped with everything you’ll need. Highly recommended! Thank you for an awesome weekend!

The location the cottage the homeliness of it all was lovely apart from the fact the WiFi and the heating and hot water didn’t work. The heating was hard to work and wasn’t working at all which effected our time in the hot tub as it was too cold To come back into the cottage, the hot tub was one of the main reasons we booked it and didn’t get to use it as we liked to. Was meant to be under floor heating but didn’t feel any benfit by it It also made us uncomfortable we lit the cooker to get heat in the kitchen. Had three mobile numbers to call of the owners of there was problems only one answered, the man was lovely but he didn’t have a clue how to work the heating which was really unhelpful. He just said sorry. The hot water was a bit clicking has to fiddle about a lot with the monitor to get it working. Was really dissipointed as we paid good money to stay there and not as much as a slight refund or anything back. Was a lovely place just bad facilities when it came to the heating and water and WiFi :( was sad about it! :( :(

Stayed here as a couple with a large dog. Very Clean, well equipped, comfortable & spacious. Everything you could need provided, which is quite unusual - foil, washing up liquid, d/w tablets, tea towels and many more things. Powerful hot shower. Very dog friendly. Lovely clean hot tub, lovely garden, good beaches nearby. Good quality fixtures and fittings. The caravan park opposite can be a bit noisy, otherwise pretty peaceful, although you can hear the other guests in the two other barns if they are outside. The road leading to the Farm can get busy and a bit congested late afternoon (passing places on a single track road). Highly recommended.
