This property is great if you are able bodied. As my husband has mobility issues, I booked this accommodation because it was "designed especially for disabled users". However, the disabled facilities are very limited. There are no grab/support rails around the low-level toilet or in the shower cubicle. The floor tiles in the shower cubicle are slippery when wet and there is no folding wall seat for ease when showering. The leather sofas are comfy but very low. I understand that there is a shower chair and alternative seating available so please ask for them as they are not in the property on arrival. The long dirt track leading to the property is very scary especially in wet weather.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner- We were sorry to hear that our facilities did not meet your husband's mobility issues but had we been made aware of his disability we would have provided a shower chair and an alternative lounge chair. We are disappointed that you did not raise your concerns whilst here. We have had several guests who have been wheelchair users and they have alL found the layout of the cottage most suitable and have commented accordingly. The floor tiles in the shower were installed as non-slip and we have not received any adverse comments previously. The long dirt track as you describe it, is actually a hard-core farm track which we regularly maintain. In the six years that we have let the cottage not once have we had any negative feedback about the track. Most small holdings are accessed by a farm track and our cottage is advertised for people who are looking for a peaceful holiday in a remote setting.

Beautiful cottage, situated in a very rural environment. If you want peace and quiet in comfort you will have difficulty in finding better. If you like walks, this is perfect. A car is highly recommended for shopping.

A very quiet Location , very peaceful and would not hesitate in booking again. Our hosts were very attentive when called upon and are a lovely couple. The cottage is set up for a family with small children with a double bed single bed and a cot if required in the Family room, I would therefore recommend the installation of a washing machine and removal of the dishwasher. I feel this would allow a two week stay to be feasible for a family of four. Best nights sleep in over a decade.

We had a lovely time staying in the cottage. Our son loved the farm animals. It's a convenient location to visit the many beaches of cardigan bay and the local attractions.
