Tucked away at the end of a lane filled with wildflowers, and below the upland beauty of the Preseli Hills, this Victorian stone farmhouse and its ancient stone stables and granary (both cleverly converted to make the most of glorious views) provide a delightful holiday location. Their idyllic setting is a working sheep and beef farm in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty affording easy access to lovely walking and splendid beaches. And within 10 miles, visitors to Garden Farm will find a wealth of sporting activities and attractions from sailing and sea trips, to art and craft galleries and the man made excitements of Oakwood theme park. Set on a spectacular stretch of coastline, renowned for its abundant wildlife, the tiny cathedral city of St David’s is also well worth a visit. Golf and riding are within 5 miles. There are several good restaurants locally and the nearest pub is just 0.5 miles, whilst shops are 3 miles and Haverfordwest’s comprehensive facilities are only 9 miles distant.

Ground floor: 1 double bedroom. Wet room with toilet. Stone stairs to first floor: Living/dining room. Kitchen.

The property owners are very friendly and go out of their way to make sure your stay is pleasant. The property is clean and equipped to a high standard, with a modern drawer-style refrigerator and pull-out pantry. The sky-lights in the kitchen and lounge brighten up these areas and allow you to watch birds or even just watch the rain fall. Lovely views of the hills with livestock from both the front and back windows. A very peaceful and pleasant atmosphere all around. Our only criticism is that we found the furniture in the lounge, particularly the sofa, a bit uncomfortable. But as the lounge is on the upper floor, it's possible that weight restrictions mean that heavier and more comfortable furniture is ruled out. Some others on this site have commented that the location is too remote but we disagree as we could easily and reasonably quickly drive to all of the lovely sights in the vicinity such as St Davids and Dinas Head.
