A nice little place to stay but could be made much better by making a few small improvements. The downstairs bathroom needs some tlc. The shower door easily comes off the rail, there is mould where it looks like the shower is leaking and the mirror is a bit shabby. The kitchen was generally well equipped but lacked chopping boards and oven gloves. There was no airer to hang up washed clothes if needed indoors. The main bedroom was lovely but again the linen was past it's best and the dressing table mirror needed propping up to use it. The location was great for our boy who loved to watch the cows out of the window and it was great to be able to walk into the village. The accommodation would be very small if all bedrooms were used.

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your comments; these have been taken on board. The shower has been fixed, and the shower door at the bottom comes off but is easily rectified. We will be renewing the mirror and bedding. There are 2 chopping boards in the kitchen as well as oven gloves. I did not supply an airer but if asked I could have provided one. I have now supplied an airer.

The cottage was in a great location with a brilliant local pub in Sherston nearby. It had every thing you need and the kitchen was very well laid out and equipped. For very little cost, I would suggest updating the tv and setting up the fireplace for an open fire or fire effect, especially for use in the winter. A few extra touches would add to the overall impression, but I am being picky. It was very good value for a stay over the Xmas period.

The cottage was lovely although a little bit cramped upstairs for 3 children. Location was great and there is plenty to do in the area. The owners are very friendly and welcoming.
