Lovely and well equipped holiday cottage. We used it as a starting point to visit several locations in West an East Sussex.

A really dinky quiet cottage in rural Sussex in excellent condition and very well managed. The welcome cake was a special treat. Thank you!

Second visit and just as enjoyable as the first. First rate quality and has everything that you need and Julies welcoming cake is the 'icing' on the top and is a really nice touch. We like the peace and tranquility and there is so much to see and do in this lovely historic county. Car is essential as the shops are not exactly down the road. More than happy to return irrespective of whatever month of the year but spring and summer is good.

Perfect cottage, modern interior, very comfortable and with everything you need. It's very quiet and has woodland behind it with many birds, foxes and the occasional deer. There's a small village pub with good food and beer less than a mile away - you need to book a table. Storrington is the nearest small town, with a small Waitrose, but Steyning is much more picturesque and has smarter shops. It's a beautiful area with lots to see. Owner Julie was delightful and very helpful. All in all a lovely place.

The Lodge was an excellent find for us....so cosy and homely. I do not want to say too many nice things about it or it may become too popular and we couldn't book it. It ticked all our boxes...

We really liked the lodge. The setting is lovely - beautifully quiet and peaceful and remote enough that you get stunning panoramas of the night sky and constellations. Very nice, helpful owner. Cottage was warm and cosy - not large but well laid out and comfortable.
