We loved it! There was a lovely welcoming log fire burning, every comfort we needed, electric blankets etc. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, Helen and Dave are always on hand if you need anything, perfect hosts!

cottage was nice and rural, very quite for a working farm, owners were very friendly, we did not find it really suitable for our 2 dogs as all the surrounding fields were full of live stock, with only lanes to walk them on, some great walks and beaches a short drive away.

Absolutely beautiful cottage set on a farm. Could not fault the cottage, lovely welcoming touches of milk and wine. Log burner with free logs kept us snug and warm. Well equipped and comfortable accommodation. Owners were friendly and helpful. Mobile phone signal is almost non- existent when in the cottage due to its thick walls but outside (in selected places!) we managed a signal on o2 and Vodaphone and sometimes we struck lucky standing by the windows inside. The owners happily agreed to take emergency messages on their landline - sorted! they also shared the Wi-Fi password. Thank you Helen and Dave, you were great! Only draw back was the approach. Terrible surface of gravel and deep potholes had us veering all over the lane trying unsuccessfully to dodge them. We were thrown all over the car each time we negotiated it. Its not a short lane either. It is enough for us to say it put us off returning, which is a shame because otherwise it was lovely.
