Really wonderful week helped by good weather in a fabulously comfortable house with magical location and lots to see and do . Dishwasher was not working properly and wifi connection is weak but otherwise no faults. Aesthetically removing fake flowers would improve the appearance of all rooms but decor is otherwise tasteful and in good condition.

We met up for our annual Christmas weekend with friends. The house was stunning & spotlessly clean. The house catered for all our needs and more. The luxury of us all having either an en-suite or our own bathroom was a bonus.

The cottage itself is just stunning both outside and inside. Rooms are all beautifully decorated and the dining kitchen is well equipped. The house was immaculate with very comfortable mattresses. The surrounding area has very interesting historical features dotted around making for an interesting outdoor walk. I would highly recommend this house and give it a 10 for every section.

We had a fantastic weekend in the Factors House recently. It is quite remote but we like it because we can let our two dogs out in the grounds. We were met at 4 o'clock by the caretaker who took a gas reading for us. The house is very comfortable and the kitchen is spotless. When we calculated the gas cost it came to £30 for 3 nights, two days. I would have liked the cost of the heating to be included in the price so that you know upfront what your going to pay. Apart from that, we had a great time and I would recommend it for a family weekend. November 2016

We had a fabulous week in The Factors House. The owners were very friendly and helpful and the house is absolutely beautiful. It was spotless and the whole house was well decorated. The bathrooms are modern with powerful showers. The bedrooms have comfortable beds, wardrobes and drawers. We had more than enough space for all our things. Two of the bedrooms are en-suite and two have their own bath or shower room with toilet nearby in the hall. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need as well as a large kitchen table. The living room has a library of books, board games and DVDs as well as a bank of leaflets about the area. There is wifi, but mobile phone signals are patchy. I would heartily recommend The Factors House as well as the area. Argyll & Bute is a really stunning area with breathtaking views.
