Situated in a small courtyard just outside the vibrant village of Gosforth, this delightful semi-detached cottage has been renovated, furnished and equipped to a good standard, boasting two bathrooms. Overlooking a mature garden, with views of England’s highest mountain, Scafell Pike. This holiday cottage is a wonderful base from which to walk in this beautiful and scenic area of the western Lake District, or explore the picturesque Wast Water. A spectacular drive over Hardnott and Wrynose Passes takes you to Ambleside or the more peaceful Coniston dominated by the craggy Old Man of Coniston. Shop, pub and restaurant 0.25 miles.

Ground floor: Living room with beams. Dining room/kitchen with beams. First floor: 3 bedrooms: 1 double with en-suite bathroom with toilet, 2 twin. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.

    Second stay at this cottage, would recommend again. It's very homely, has everything you'd need and more. Great new extended patio, garden perfect for sitting out in the evenings. If you love walking/hiking, this cottage is very close to the best views and paths in Cumbia. Looking forward to next year, same cottage of cause!!!

    Cottage has plenty of bedroom space, but could be a bit cosy if their were more than just the two of us and our 2 Westies. Garden was great, if a bit shadowed by the surrounding trees and small dogs may be able to escape under the fence.

    The Cottage was an excellent base for our holiday in the Lake District, good local walks, a steam railway 15 minutes away what's not to like! it suited our idea of a holiday perfectly.

    Lovely cottage with a beautiful garden, very dog friendly. The owners were there to meet us and show us where everything was. Amazing views of the mountains from the bedroom. And loads of dog friendly things to do around.
