We had an absolutely brilliant time at the cottage, were definitely going back next year in the summer to experience the different views and outlooks , late winter / early spring gave us snow topped mountains and baby lambs in the fields, can't wait, we've already booked, enjoy your stay we certainly did, many thanks to the owners for taking such good care of us,

Our fourth year here and already booked for next year. We love it, peace and quiet beautiful views, and owners although always busy on the farm, have time to help with any questions relating to the area. There are also lots of helpful leaflets for places to visit and things to do. As long as this cottage is for rent we shall keep coming back every year.

Excellent remote-feeling location. Fantastic views. Basic facilities. Wood-burning stove for when it is chilly. Peace and quiet. On a farm owned by the National Trust run by Christine and Philip who are very friendly and helpful and love their work. This is why we love staying here.

If you like getting away from it all then this is the place for you. Peaceful, beautiful surroundings, great walks from the door. Its not five star luxury but it is my favourite holiday place.
