This is a delightful holiday cottage and we were made very welcome. The only slight hiccup was finding it as the description on the website didn't make it clear it was at Branthwaite Mill. I put 8 for amenities since there is no shop (which we knew), but there is a lovely pub and lots of peace and quiet! We went with our dog, who was also made welcome. We had a bit of a problem with the stairs, but again this often happens with her and we were prepared. We would certainly like to go there again. Check out what you see when you enter.

We had a brilliant 2 night stay at the Corn Mill. A great base for exploring the nearby lakes and fells, with great pubs close by also. Cockermouth was a short drive away and proved to be lots of fun. Keith and Carol were kind and approachable hosts, with Tosca the cat being just as friendly . We'd love to stay here again. Thank You!
