The cottage was beautiful and in a lovely location. The pups loved the beach just over the road. Only down side is that there was no outdoor space at the cottage itself

Location was good just the walkway pass the cottage was a bit difficult with our over alert 9 month old dog so lots of barking. The reason we would not stay again is based on the no car parking space. We were lucky that other cottages were empty otherwise it would have been a nightmare. Car paresearch close about 9:30 and streets are full of double yellow lines. Seahouses was outstanding otherwise.

Lovely cottage, great location, but parking was a nightmare. The cottage info book suggested parking at a public car park which is quite a walk away. If parking is sorted it would be good.

Lovely cottage full of character. Quality sofas & comfy bed. Kitchen was well equipped. Towels were fluffy. Two pubs across the road. Try Thursday quiz in the Black Swan is a must- well run & good fun. Friday music at the Schooner, also a good night. Parking can be tricky if neighbours take your spot.

When we arrived, there was a parking issue. There is a parking space for the cottage on the opposite side of the entrance and if one parks outside The Coracle it blocks the entrance to the courtyard. Luckily, other properties were vacant, so we coped. The cottage needs a thorough deep clean and some repairs. Cobwebs had dirt on them, they had been there so long. In the dust on top of surfaces one could write one's name. There was a number of deficiencies. There was no tea towel, no toilet roll, no washing-up liquid, no dishwasher tablets and no bin liners. This is not what we are used to with the normal high standard that we have had with previous cottage rentals. We ate out every night, because the oven was filthy. There was dog food left in one cupboard and cereal on the shelf. We do not have a dog or eat that type of cereal. The worst was that the weather in April was like January and the front door does not fit the jamb. The wind came through a crack about 2 cm wide where the door does not meet the jamb, we had to put a coat on the handle to hang down and a cushion in front to keep out the cold draught, which was blowing a gale straight on to the sofa next to the door. A new door is required.
