Tastefully converted coach house with all mod cons. Lovely and warm with underfloor heating however the delightful woodturning stove requires some attention as the door seal needs glueing back in place. A minor detail. Lovely walk around through the woods at the back of the property- a private nature reserve.

Another superb holiday in an idyllic setting.Ian the host always gives such a warm welcome! Spotlessly clean.Puzzling, that such a beautiful 'cottage' is not give a 5star award-most certainly, deserves the highest rating. The Coach House is full of charm and character.Ian's adjoining stream and wood, is truly a wonderful bonus! Daisy, our 12year-old Shih-Tzu is always made so welcome. This must,be the best self-catering accommodation in the area. We've stayed at a few but this,is second to none!

The coach house is set in lovely surroundings and has been beautifully renovated to a very high standard and is also very well equipped. Although the location is very pretty the continual sound of traffic from the A12 is hard to ignore and spoils the peace that would otherwise have made this perfect . Also it was most upsetting to find that there is no internet connection at the property, especially when the details say that there is! There is internet at the owners house, but not in the Coach House. It was very important for me to have internet access and this property was chosen for that reason amongst others.

A lovely barn conversion of the style synominous with properties in this region. Fitted out to a good standard throughout. Situated adjacent to own lovely woods, 5 minute drive to Saxmunden town centre where there is a burger, bakery and to large supermarkets. I would have scored comfort a 10 but the sofa, as fitting style as it is, was uncomfortable (unless one chose to lie on it). Lovely pond at the rear, home to a family of birds and a black goose; but bear in mind there are a few biting insects so be mindful of open windows at dusk. Owner, Ian is really helpful and loved our dog which stayed with us. We really loved our stay and would definitely consider returning.

Another, idyllic stay at the beautiful, tranquil, and spacious Coach House. The pretty stream which runs by the bedroom window, had the added bonus of an Indian Runner duck and Moorhens! The adjoining woodland is just wonderful; with great emphasis on the environment and the flora and fauna it supports.Just puzzled why this lovely, hide-away has not been granted five stars!! As always, the cottage is 'spit-spot' to the highest standard. Ian the owner, is always 'around' if needs be,but is totally unobstrusive .Daisy our Shih-Tzu was made so welcome-as always. We have already booked to return in the autumn.Thank you Ian and Pandora for sharing your superb cottage. Sylvia and Frank
