We spent a really enjoyable New Year at The Barn and found the cottage to be comfortable, warm and fully equipped. Fantastic location with lovely views and walks from the front door. We will definitely return.

We have scored 'The Barn' at 9 but only 7 for comfort and equipment because it needs a shower (or shower attachment) in the main bathroom.

We stayed at the Barn during the October half term break. On arrival to the property we were greeted by a flock of sheep and a beautiful friendly sheep dog called flash. The views from the Barn were stunning and it couldn't be situated in a more peaceful and idyllic setting. We stayed 4 nights with another family and had every creature comfort available in the Barn. The owners were so accommodating and provided us with local information re where to go etc. The Ribble Valley is truly a hidden gem and I can't believe this is our first time visiting, considering we only live 50 minutes down the road! We will definitely be returning again and again and the Barn more than satisfies our needs for a fantastic holiday in an amazing part of this country.

Lovely, well-equipped cottage with very friendly owners. Generous treats in welcome pack. The children loved staying on a farm and seeing the sheep and collecting the eggs in the mornings. Lovely quiet countryside near where we wanted to be. The only issue we had was that we found the water from the borehole tasted funny to us (probably because we weren't used to it) and so we bought some mineral water to drink rather than tap water. Otherwise we were very happy.

The house was lovely, well prepared for our arrival and the owners were so friendly from the moment of arrival and throughout our stay. It was a wonderful location for a holiday. We had relatives near by and they were welcome to visit. The house was clean and very well appointed, which enabled us to cook for our guests for our family celebration. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Barn for holidays for families and groups of friends. There are walks in all directions from the farm, without having to use the car at all. We will definitely book again, and can't wait to get back to Lancashire and the Ribble Valley.

The barn is in the most stunning location. The owners are incredibly generous and obliging. The barn is on a working sheep farm, perfect for families! The town is about 2 miles away, where there are plenty of good shops, restaurants and pubs. From the barn we travelled a 50 mile radius, to visit all local towns, we loved Southport, on the coast, clitheroe is a beautiful town. Unfortunately, we did not have time to walk, so we would love to come back, and walk the Pendle hills, meet the witches, and all within a short walk from the barn! Lancashire is such an interesting county, very different from suffolk, from where we came. I'm sure we will be back, thank you so much.

Lovely quiet location off road on a farm. Relaxing environment. The barn was clean, beautiful and cosy that I would highly recommend to others.
