lovely clean cottage in excellent quiet position with shops / pubs / restaurants close by. Well equipped kitchen and comfy bed and treats of wine, choccy biscuits, mince pies and dog treats on arrival was very thoughtful. Although we had an enjoyable holiday we would not stay here again as we found the settee uncomfortable and television too small plus the small garden was a mud bath and almost unusable for our labrador.

Fantastic cottage, clean and very animal friendly. Special welcome packs for dogs and although we had cats the design and layout and flooring was perfect for any animal.

All in all a great cottage! We felt very welcome there. Just the garden was a bit smaller than expected and unfortunately waterlogged which was a problem for our dog and caused a few little problems.

We found Buckfastleigh to be in a good position to visit , Paignton Zoo, the steam railway and the river Dart boat. There were also interesting National Trust places in the area. Buckfast Abbey is well worth a visit as is the Valiant Soldier museum. It would have been nice to have had Wi-Fi.

The cottage was perfect I spent some time searching as our springer is nearly blind. It was perfect for him. The only thing we would like is a handle in the shower. We were both frightened of slipping
