Me and my mother who is 79 because the settee was low down I had great difficulty in getting out. My mom had to sit in the wicker chairs instead. They could do with new settees .

Lovely stay in a beautiful location. Would recommend this cottage and will certainly go back again. If you like photography this is a must - catch the sunrise and sunsets across the river from the huge decking area. Quite a few people were fishing from the jetty you overlook too. The cottage has everything you need and is well equipped. We took some games for the odd rainy day but we noticed there are already some games, books and films to use. It's located just inside Cornwall so Devon and Cornwall are easy to explore. The roads on approach are quite narrow but thats expected in this part of the country. If I were being picky the only negatives would be the sofas could do with being replaced, the curtains don't fit particularly well so let in a fair amount of light and the floorboards and stair case are very squeaky; normally this is fine but since the bedrooms are downstairs I did manage to wake the children a couple of times. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would thoroughly recommend it to other people.

Amazing views from the property. Also a lovely park for smaller children just a short walk away. Shame there are no amenities such a local shop to walk to but overall a great holiday in good accommodation.
