We had a lovely weekend here. We were a mixed age group and found the ground floor bedroom perfect for our elderly parents. The galleried bedroom actually has 4 walls so is much more private than the web site indicates. The house is well equipped with everything you need and the heating kept the cottage nice and cosy.

Lovely and homely cottage. Patsy was very kind and welcoming. The equipment provided was excellent. Unfortunately there was a problem with the plumbing of the upstairs toilet/bath that was not fixed and the loud noise created through the pipes did wake up our little 6 month old baby on the first morning.

We had a very enjoyable holiday at the cottage it was very comfortable and equipped for all our needs. My elderly mother benefited from the ground floor accommodation and it was in a ideal location for travelling to many lovely places of interest.

This is a comfy cottage/barn conversion, well equipped (you don't need to bring anything with you) in a quiet area just outside Hereford. We met the owners family (and their dogs) on a few occasions and they were extremely helpful. However, there was a problem every morning around 7.15 due, I believe, to an air lock somewhere in the system (probably shower/water running in the main house?). This happened every morning and was still a problem when we left after our 5 days stay. Hopefully this has now been resolved as otherwise it was a pleasure to stay at this place. In terms of places visited, I would recommend Queenswood Country park (our dog enjoyed it here) and the Trumpet tearooms on Trumpet corner. Otherwise we enjoyed our days to Ledbury, Malvern (the Hills in particular), Bromyard and Leominster.

Our first impression was that the house looked in need of more than a little TLC outside and inside. The cottage was quite well equipped and clean. The storage heaters were not very responsive so we were too hot at the beginning of our holiday. However, on cold days when the heating took time to come on the electric fire kept us warm. There were no instructions for the hob and we were expected to go online for instructions had we not approached the owners. One member of our party bumped his head on the stairs so more warning of headroom is needed.

Fantastic cottage in a fantastic setting. The owners were extremely helpful and nice and made our stay very comfortable. The little things mean the most, and on arrival a few bottles of cider and some snacks were left out for us. Would recommend this cottage to anyone who is looking for a nice chilled out experience and will deffo go again :)

Warm welcome, but not intrusive. Secure garden for dog was an attractive area to sit out on and enjoy the good weather.

We staid for a short break on a rainy weekend in January. The cottage was warm and comfortable with everything we needed. The owners lived in an adjacent property and were very welcoming when we arrived and then kept to themselves whilst making it clear that if we needed anything we just had to ask. We like the fact that the cottage was a little unusual and it is in a part of the world where the sounds around you let you know that you in a rural environment.

An excellent stay. The owners were very friendly and accommodating, especially towards our lively dog!
