Our first impression was that the house looked in need of more than a little TLC outside and inside. The cottage was quite well equipped and clean. The storage heaters were not very responsive so we were too hot at the beginning of our holiday. However, on cold days when the heating took time to come on the electric fire kept us warm. There were no instructions for the hob and we were expected to go online for instructions had we not approached the owners. One member of our party bumped his head on the stairs so more warning of headroom is needed.

Fantastic cottage in a fantastic setting. The owners were extremely helpful and nice and made our stay very comfortable. The little things mean the most, and on arrival a few bottles of cider and some snacks were left out for us. Would recommend this cottage to anyone who is looking for a nice chilled out experience and will deffo go again :)

Warm welcome, but not intrusive. Secure garden for dog was an attractive area to sit out on and enjoy the good weather.

We staid for a short break on a rainy weekend in January. The cottage was warm and comfortable with everything we needed. The owners lived in an adjacent property and were very welcoming when we arrived and then kept to themselves whilst making it clear that if we needed anything we just had to ask. We like the fact that the cottage was a little unusual and it is in a part of the world where the sounds around you let you know that you in a rural environment.

Our weekend away was just what we needed. The cottage was cosy and the owners were very friendly and helpful. Our 4- year old particularly loved feeding their chickens!

Wonderful setting to relax and unwind. The accommodation was excellent and the hosts very helpful but not intrusive. The village has no amenities and lies approx 6 miles from Hereford in a little backwater so you have to be very organised.

This cottage offers a great deal. Its quite central to all locations like Hererford, Leominster, Ross-on-wye and many more. It is set in a rural location with farm life very close to the cottage. Our dog was able to go out and play, as the court yard is very secure. The cottage owners are very easy going and always speak if they see you, you are made to feel at home from day one until the day you leave. Any issues that you might have, I/e perhaps some thing is not working, they are soon resolved by the owners. We really enjoyed our stay it was very clean, comfortable and comes complete with all the mod-cons you need for a peaceful break in the country. We would love to go back again as there is so much to see and do. Best regards J/K.
