We had a lovely stay at St Michaels Mount View. Our days started with breakfast outside with the stunning view onto the sea and St Michaels Mount. The cottage has a well equipped kitchen and is tastefully decorated with maritime accessories. The cottage is well located in a town with a working harbour. Restaurants, supermarkets, fish mongers and a filling station are within reach. The gas heating works well but leaves a little smell. The bathrooms are contemporary, the lower one is spacious with tub and shower combined. The upper bathroom has a shower. The water temperature in the upper bathroom could be improved. We enjoyed our stay at St Michaels Mount View very much. We were very happy to have found such a gem and rate the cottage as recommendable even for longer stays.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you so much for your kind comments and I am glad you and your mother enjoyed the week. I apologise for the smell from the boiler. In the week prior to your stay we had the heat exchanger, together with a number of other parts replaced. In effect we pretty much had a new boiler installed and were advised by Ideal boilers that we would get that new smell associated with boilers and which may last for a few weeks. Once again thank you for taking the time to provide this lovely review

Lovely cottage with amazing views, roads getting to it were a little steep and the parking space was a struggle but overall had everything you could need and I would definately stay here again. 1 of the tiles were cracked in the bathroom and a tiny patch of wallpaper was coming adrift as well as a blind being stuck on the window rather than screwed on, hence falling down whilst we were there but generally a beautiful place with a couple of pubs/restaurants within walking distance. We really enjoyed our holiday. Thanks again.

the house is well equipped and has fantastic views. There are a few snagging issues with the property. The walk from car park to property is not ideal
