Absolutely fabulous cottage. Clean, well equipped and with great view across bay to St Michaels Mount. It's a bit tricky to find at first but I will definitely stay again. Make sure you leave parking permit in view though!

The cottage in itself was lovely, new furnished, comfortable, excellent views. Only downside was Newlyn itself, which appeared to be down at heel, although I am aware that it is primarily a working port and not a tourist village. Main reason for not staying there again is that we never go back, move on to a different cottage each year, thereby seeing a different location. We did make use of the local busses, which were excellent.

lovely accommodation in a great location, the view is amazing. Newlyn is a lovely little fishing town and the food at the red lion pub just up the road is a must. the Minack theatre is well worth a visit as is Carbis bay which is large and sandy and great for the kids. if I had one comment about the cottage it would be the lack of wifi, we had some friends nearby in a smaller less expensive cottage which had wifi.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your excellent review in respect of the property, views and Newlyn itself which is renowned for its local artists, large number of galleries as well its fine selection of restaurants and pubs and its ideal location to walk into Mousehole. You did mention your one concern about the lack of Wi-Fi. We want to ensure that everyone has a great experience when staying at St Michael's Mount View and that the needs of all, to our ability, are catered for. Having taken your comments into account and that of a previous reviewer of our home, we have for 2016 now installed Wi-Fi within the property. Thank you again for taking the time to provide feedback.
