We had a super time. The only thing we were missing was a dishwasher, but that is being extremely picky as there is no room for one!

First class accommodation in a beautiful setting. Words alone can't do justice to the amount of thought and effort that have gone into creating what for us was the perfect place to switch off and relax.

This is a fantastic holiday location for anyone wanting to escape from the world, its quiet and relaxing. The cottage had everything you could want, it was clean, tidy, perfectly equipped and comfortable. The owner was a lovely lady called Sue who met us when we arrived and showed us around. I would recommend this cottage highly for a quiet escape, the view was fab, the sea so relaxing and the sunsets glorious. The dogs were thrilled with the run of the garden which was lovely, safe, enclosed and perfectly safe for our four legged friends - they had a wonderful time chasing around & we could relax knowing they were safe! We enjoyed it so much we arrived back home and booked immediately for June 2017!! See you next year Sue xx

Having stayed at many holiday cottages over recent years Seaside Cottage is head and shoulders above the rest by virtue of its facilities and cleanliness. The owners, Sue and George have clearly spent a great deal of time and effort to ensure the cottage has been decorated and fitted out very tastefully and it shows. They had also left a very nice welcome pack for us! On leaving to come home I left a mobile phone charger at the cottage and a call to Sue the following day resulted in the charger arriving in the post a couple of days later. Couldn't ask for more!

Fantastic Seaside Cottage !!! fabulous location i could have spent most of the weekend watching the sea. The cottage itself is very comfortable and well maintained, everything that you could possible want or need has been provided - including a huge selection of books, games & puzzles for those rainy day's ( which we did experience over the Easter Weekend ) There were maps of the area & leaflets of things to do, places to visit. The kitchen was well equipped as was all the rooms and there was also a utility room which we did use due to the wet weather. Couldn't fault Seaside Cottage at all - the owners attention to detail was outstanding and we can't wait to book another stay at Seaside Cottage.

Made to feel very welcome by owners and surrounding tenants , enjoyed the pebble painting, extremely clean, fantastic view, flowers and chocolates on arrival, very relaxing holiday, pet friendly with water bowl and enclosed garden, deceptively spacious. Would go back to this obviously much loved home. Thank you for sharing this with us. Delayed exit due to a car tyre puncture but owners had patience, understanding and were very supportive helping to get the issue solved. Would recommend to anyone. Thanks again.

Seaside Cottage is a superb place to stay, if you want to relax, unwind and chill out. Equipped above and beyond your needs. Fantastic location, amazing views, glorious sunsets and friendly neighbours. The local village Egremont has plenty of takeaways and convenience stores. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

As an ex-Whitehaven girl, I wanted to stay here to relive some fond childhood memories of Coulderton Beach with my own family. We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay, the cottage was beyond our expectations! Beautifully decorated, clean, cosy and well equipped with lots of extra little touches, for e.g dog towels, local maps and books of interest. The owners have just gone that extra mile to make the guest's stay special. The new utility and shower rooms were an extra surprise and brill addition to the accommodation. Despite the wet, cold weather our boys had a great time out on the beach and the sea view is just mesmerising. You can lose hours sitting in the porch looking at the sea! The narrow country roads and drive down to the cottage may not be for the faint hearted but the cottage and scenery are well worth it! We are already planning when we can stay again.

This our second stay, and love the new extension. The cottage is so well equipped lots of spare bedding and towels etc. Thank you for the welcome pack. The children particularly enjoyed people painting in the conservatory on a wet afternoon.,we can't fault this property lots of love and care has been put into it. Sue and George take great pride in it we are looking forward to returning next year .

Seaside Cottage met all our expectation, clean, warm and well equipped. The only slight downside was that the double bed was a little firm for us. We spent a lot of time in the front sun room looking out to sea. We were fortunate enough to get some beautiful sunsets and a couple of winter storms which were brilliant to watch. We enjoyed our cream tea on arrival and our dog enjoyed her little treats that had been left for her. She also enjoyed the garden, which I'm sure would be a real sun trap in the summer. Overall a very cosy cottage in a lovely location, we have already recommended it to family. We can not wait to come back. Thank you very much Sue and George
