A clean and comfortable holiday property with panoramic views towards the Isle of Man and St Bees. Great seaside location and access to the Lakeland fells.

This wonderful beach-style cottage nestles right on the seashore overlooking the Irish Sea, with panoramic views towards the Isle of Man and St Bees Head. Take time to explore the green valleys of Eskdale, the splendour of Wasdale, take a trip on ‘La’al Ratty’, the miniature steam train on the narrow gauge railway at Ravenglass, stroll around the lake at Ennerdale, visit the Georgian town of Whitehaven and its popular harbour side, or take a tour of Muncaster Castle. A single track railway runs along the back of the property, which is reached by ½ mile of unmade road/track. Shop and pubs 2½ miles.

Superb cottage in a superb location. Many hours spent sitting in the sun room watching the ever changing sea scape. Little touches throughout made such a difference, the owners clearly want to give their guests the best possible experience . A feeling of isolation yet in reality within a few minutes of St Bees and a short drive from all the Lakes has to offer. To walk out of the property onto the beach was simply wonderful.

Loved Seaside Cottage. Can't fault it. It was nice to meet one of the owners, Sue who gave us lots of interesting info about the history of the cottage and tiny Hamlet. We have only very rarely returned to a cottage/hotel, & don't even return to a town very often but we are already planning to return to the lovely Seaside Cottage in summer 2018, (as we have got summer 2017 booked somewhere else) we just hope its still a rental.

This cottage is absolutely fabulous and we have booked again for next year for two weeks. Lovely welcome pack, well equipped with everything and more. The garden is well fenced off if you have a dog and the view is breathtaking. Congratulations to the owners for the thought they have put into this cottage for their visitors. Can't wait until next year.

This is the second time we have stayed at Seaside Cottage and hopefully not the last. The cottage is in a superb location right on the beach. You have to drive down a steep uneven road to get to it but it's worth it. The cottage was spotless on both visits and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The cottage has undergone some work recently and had a shower room and utility room added which was a god send, it's the first time I have returned from a holiday without a suitcase of dirty washing. The thing that really makes the cottage special is the sun room that over looks the sea, one day we had a storm which was fantastic to watch sat in comfort with a cup of tea! Don't hesitate to book Seaside cottage you won't be disappointed.

We had a super time. The only thing we were missing was a dishwasher, but that is being extremely picky as there is no room for one!

First class accommodation in a beautiful setting. Words alone can't do justice to the amount of thought and effort that have gone into creating what for us was the perfect place to switch off and relax.

This is a fantastic holiday location for anyone wanting to escape from the world, its quiet and relaxing. The cottage had everything you could want, it was clean, tidy, perfectly equipped and comfortable. The owner was a lovely lady called Sue who met us when we arrived and showed us around. I would recommend this cottage highly for a quiet escape, the view was fab, the sea so relaxing and the sunsets glorious. The dogs were thrilled with the run of the garden which was lovely, safe, enclosed and perfectly safe for our four legged friends - they had a wonderful time chasing around & we could relax knowing they were safe! We enjoyed it so much we arrived back home and booked immediately for June 2017!! See you next year Sue xx
