This single-storey, detached chalet is ideally located to take full advantage of all the entertainment and facilities at the holiday park.

Standing detached on the edge of Seacroft Caravan Club Site, this single-storey chalet enjoys being within easy reach of all the facilities of the park, including the outdoor, heated swimming pool (seasonal opening) and the club house with a bar and restaurant. Less than 1 mile to the seaside resort of Cromer itself, Seacroft is a family orientated Caravan Club Site, with 111 pitches. During peak season, the park hosts a lively programme of varied entertainment and special events. Located on the opposite side of the road is ’The Common’, which is ideal for walkers, a large expanse of grassland, located along the cliff top with a path leading to Cromer’s promenade and town. The small theatre at the end of Cromer pier hosts live entertainment (in season) and there is a bustling promenade, colourful gardens, beach, Amazona Zoo and golf course. The town centre has many shops, cafés and restaurants and a carnival is held in the third week of August. With the bus stop outside the park entrance, a great way of exploring Norfolk’s Coastline is by the local bus service, ‘The Coastal Hopper’, visiting towns and villages along the Coast Road. Sheringham has the headquarters of the Poppy Line North Norfolk Steam Railway, Splash and Fun Water Park, RNLI life boat station and museum, cliff top golf course, Sheringham Park (NT) and town centre with shops, café and restaurants. RSPB nature and bird reserves at Blakeney Quay, Morston Harbour, Cley next the Sea and Salthouse. An hours drive away is Holkham Hall (NT), Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall (NT). Wroxham, known as the capital of the Norfolk Broads offers daily boat hire and river trips available, shops, cafés and waterside restaurants. The city of Norwich has excellent shopping malls, market square, theatre, castle museum, cathedral, cafés and restaurants. Beach 1 mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

We stayed at Seacroft for 3 nights over Christmas 2017. We received a warm welcome from the site manager who had put a Christmas tree and some holly decorations and a hamper in with mulled wine and mince pies. He gave us detailed information about the property and the site, as well as the surrounding area, the best access to the beach for taking dogs. The property was clean and aired. Good size bedrooms, beautiful kitchen with everything we needed. Well equipped. (Oven did need a good clean but worked well) Lots of tea/coffe/milk sachets etc to start us off. Fully enclosed all around made it excellent for dogs running in and out. Really enjoyed our stay. Wouldn't hesitate to come back. Many thanks Seacroft.

Frying pan needed replacing. Conservatory roof leaks. Outside area scruffy with bbq laying in water. Chairs covered in bird poo due to vicinity of tree. Needs storage outside for chairs etc. 4 PM Check in time is too late should be 2 PM. Wifi is not £5 as advertised but £10. Toilet cleaner should be supplied. However saying all that it is well situated and staff on site are very friendly and helpful. Would stop again but too expensive in the spring summer months.

The cottage itself is in a good location with Cromer and Sheringham not being far on the bus route, the site club house/restaurant is reasonable prices and the food is good also offers a take away service, the pool is great and was very convenient for the children. That's about as good as it gets, the actual chalet was a let down, it was clean to a point, the beds were clean and fairly comfy, although 3 hangers in each wardrobe isn't enough for a weeks stay, the bathroom toothbrush cup was filthy, there was only one pot towel in the kitchen which hadn't seen a washer, melted kitchen utensils, a filthy sponge and cloth, a kettle with fediculous limescale all over it (which the site maintainace tried to their best to descale as they didn't have a spare kettle) but still no joy so we ended up boiling a pan of water every time we wanted a brew which grew tedious after 7days and tasted nasty either due to the water in the area or the pan. The living area is nice enough with a big tv and good freeview but that's it the sofas are so uncomfortable and very low down due to having no legs attached so when you already have mobility issues sitting on and getting up from them was hard work, so by the end of our holiday we were aching more than usual. Ended up having to buy battieries for the remotes as all but one had non in & the kids wanted to play the wii which is a good addition but I thought more books/games for kids would have been good. So apart from the self catering we expected we ended up buying bin bags, batteries, cloths, sponges and tea towels all basics which for the price charged a week should have been included! The step to the conservatory is quite steep and it could do with a good clean. The place was apparently 'cleaned' by the caravan club site cleaner who I'm afraid wants to find a new career, I'm not a snob but here's a level of cleanliness I expect when paying nearly £700 for a weeks holiday, so not impressed atall, I think he actual owner of this chalet needs to replace the kettle & sofas and supply things I.E bin bags, batteries, clean tea towels, there wasn't even any instructions about bin collections or where to leave rubbish etc. Finally the wifi advertised at £5 per week (actually £10 per week but got £5 back when mentioned this) it's using the caravan clubs portal which you register on and when booking doesn't mention that only one device at a time can use the wifi when logged in so that caused a war with kids taking turns lol. Wouldn't book again, best part was the location and the pool for the kids.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your feedback and I was disappointed to read your comments concerning your stay at our property. We understand that the kettle was de-scaled as soon as this was raised but we are unsure if you fed any other issues back to the site staff as they would have rectified these straight away. Batteries, bin bags and cleaning supplies would have been available from the site staff upon request. Moving forward, we have also spoken to the cleaner and put further checks in place to ensure that these problems do not happen again. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank you for your positive remarks, with particular reference to the club house and food, along with the swimming pool. Finally, again thank you for taking the time to comment on the property as all comments/feedback are invaluable in helping us to improve our services.

Seacroft is a fantastic place to stay. The location is just over 1 mile from Cromer in one direction and just a tiny bit further to East Runton in the other direction. The campsite has a heated outdoor swimming pool which is small but perfect for a splash around - my 10 year old loved it. We had a lovely meal one evening in the site restaurant and there is also entertainment provided. The chalet is comfortable and clean and was perfect for a week away. There is also a good sized barbecue which we used one evening. There is a conservatory attached which was the only part of the chalet we thought could do with updating but is still ok for kids to play as there is a Wii with a few games.
