Response on behalf of the Owner; We took over the ownership of Puffin Cottage in April 2015. We are delighted that our guests have enjoyed their stays at Puffin Cottage. We are pleased to inform all our past, present and future guests that we endeavour to ensure everyone’s stay in the property is as comfortable as possible and so in light of comments made in relation to the sofas in the property, we are pleased to inform you that new sofas were installed on the 11th November 2015. We have also put a handle grip and new bathmat in the bathroom at the request of another guest. Please continue to enjoy your time at Puffin Cottage.

Cottage was great, no real garden for kids to play in but with beaches so close it was no real problem. We had a fantastic week and would use the cottage again. It was very clean on arrival and so easy to find. It was very quiet, I would happily recommend it to my friends and family.

I love Seahouses and I love Puffin Cottage. (Second stay). The cottage is spotlessly clean and well equipped. The beds are comfortable. My only gripes, the settees do leave much to be desired, the TV ariel connection is a bit loose, and I prefer a shower to a bath. (Getting a bit old to climb into and out of bath, perhaps a hand grip?) I shall be back to Puffin Cottage for a third stay.

Clean and comfortable with lots of little extras which could be borrowed e.g. buckets and spades, chairs, kite. Useful book swap. Plenty of DVDs just in case it rains. Parking for 2 cars. less than 2 minutes to small harbour beach which is great for popping down to after tea. I understand there are new owners and they are keen to put right any niggles people may have - we didn't have any. I only gave it 9 for location because it is in a shared courtyard with cars going in and out - this however did not cause us a problem even though we had 2 small children with us. As for value for money - it's a general thing and not specific to this cottage- I find cottages a bit pricey in school holidays! Out and about some car parks are free e.g. Beadnell and Bamburgh, which is a great help.

The only issue was internet and mobile connection.
