We had a lovely short stay at the cottage. We were made very welcome on arrival after a horrible journey and the cottage was warm and cosy. We loved it's location and will definitely return.

Lovely cosy cottage with everything needed to have a good break, and opposite a really nice park to walk the dog. Easy to walk into Glossop for all the shops and railway station.

It was the perfect base for us to do some walking, visit Lyme Park, visit my old student haunts in Manchester after 40-something years, etc. We'd never been to Glossop before and thought it a lovely town - interesting shops, good pubs. Cottage was warm and cosy and comfortable.

We were extremely surprised on our arrival at Park View cottage, because not only was the cottage clean and tidy as one would expect but everything that you needed was at hand, e.g. food, coffee, tea, extra bedding, even some dog treats. The cottage location was perfect opposite a beautiful park, and the view from the living room was very nice and in an ideal position for quite walks with my Labrador. To sum up I would rate the cottage at 100%, ad we will definitely visit again.

Lovely place to stay, many extra touches that put this cottage above others we have stayed at. Well equipped through out even supplying some items not usually found in other self catering accommodation. Excellent location, far enough out of the main part of town to be quiet at night but close enough to walk to one of the many pubs and restaurants.

We loved our stay at Park View Cottage. Considerate touches such as fresh flowers, cake and a pint of milk were greatly appreciated. All rooms were immaculate, tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard. The living room was very comfortable and so were the beds. Everything worked well, e.g. television, shower and central heating. Manor Park is on the opposite side of the road; it is great for kids and dogs. The road wasn't very busy and traffic noise was no problem. Glossop town centre is within easy walking distance too. My daughter loved snuggling on the sofa with lots of cushions and throws. She did not want to leave.
