This is the best holiday cottage we have stayed in!!Everything we could possible need, warm and cosy, beds comfy with good supply of towels for the bathrooms.Even the weather was kind to us and with so many places to explore, this was great. Only a 9 for local amenities as 2 of the most local pubs closed for refurbishment...but we found good take aways and eateries in Berwick. Would return and would recommend to friends. Thankyou for a great holiday!!!

A great cottage, spotlessly clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed. Highly recommended 😀

A beautiful cottage, in a wonderful location, very peaceful and ideal for exploring Northumberland. The only thing that let it down slightly was the cleanliness of the property. They need to check the little things, such as the mugs, teapot and that the wardrobes were empty. We found open biscuits in the wardrobe, and there was mold growing in the teapot and obviously had not been cleaned for sometime. The same with the mugs had not been cleaned after they were last used. Apart from these minor issues we would recommend Murton Cottage and we would stay there again

Beautiful barn with a modern and luxury feel inside. The lounge is stunning and location to Berwick is perfect. Only slight knock down on the score was it would be nice for dishwasher tablets to have been provided but otherwise couldn't fault the place.

Cottage was comfortable and warm however no welcome pack, nothing to light the wood burner with, shower covered in mildew and a make up wipe hanging from the banister

Excellent rural location. Nice warm house, looking a little tired in places could do with a refresh.
